RETURNS & POLICIES

Thanks for shopping at Cheaper By The Dram. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Returns

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.

To be eligible for a return, your dram must be unopened and in the same condition that you received it.

Your dram must be in the original packaging.

Your dram needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment).

You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non­refundable.

If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

We offer four domestic postage services.

Royal Mail Tracked & Signed 24

This express service is fully insured and will require a signature. Items cannot be left in a safe place and if nobody is available to sign then you will have to collect the parcel from your local Post Office.

Royal Mail Tracked 24

This express service does not require a signature so items can be left in a safe place. We cannot take any responsibility for items left in a safe place and as such it is an uninsured service.

Royal Mail Tracked & Signed 48

This express service is fully insured and will require a signature. Items cannot be left in a safe place and if nobody is available to sign then you will have to collect the parcel from your local Post Office.

This express service does not require a signature so items can be left in a safe place. We cannot take any responsibility for items left in a safe place and as such it is an uninsured service.

We offer international postage to the following regions in Europe:

Band A: £14.00 per parcel

Republic of Ireland

Band B: £14.50 per parcel

Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands.

Band C: £15.50

Austria, Denmark, Switzerland.

Band D: £17.75 per parcel

Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia, Spain.

Band E: £30.00 per parcel

Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden.

Band F: £46.00 per parcel

Bosnia, Bulgaria, Greece, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Romania, Serbia.

There may be some changes to these charges after the 31st October due to issues outside of our control. Please bear with us while we deal with these changes as no one is sure what (if anything) will happen.

America: £33

We can ship to the following states in America: Alaska (anchorage only), California, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Wyoming.

Cheaper by the Dram are committed to looking after your personal data and we want you to understand how we are using it, and the legal basis for its use.

Cheaper by the Dram is the Data Controller and this information is provided so that you can understand:

The information we collect, why we collect it, & how it’s stored:

When you use our websites:

We use cookies to collect information relating to your interaction with our websites.

When you decide to buy an item through us, such as a dram:

When you have agreed to buy an item through us we collect some personal details in order to send you your item. These details are kept on our secure online servers as per your contract.

If you sign up to our newsletter or other marketing:

When you sign up to receive our newsletter we collect some information such as name and email address in order to provide you with our newsletter. We do not and will not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Your data is stored on the server of our email provider in compliance with current EU laws.

We may also provide you with marketing based on legitimate interest where you have used our partner services in the past and we think services provided by Cheaper by the Dram may be of interest to you.

You have the right to opt-out of our direct marketing by using the unsubscribe link which is included in all our direct marketing emails. You can also contact us if you would like to update your marketing preferences or stop receiving marketing content from us by emailing [email protected]

Please note that opting out of marketing emails will not affect any communication you receive from us regarding our sales services.

Who we share your data with:

When you make an initial enquiry with us we share the images you supply with our contacts in order to obtain accurate offers for your items. No personal information is shared outside of Cheaper by the Dram.

When you buy or sell something through Cheaper by the Dram LTF we share only the information necessary to complete that sale, as per your contract.

How long do we keep your data:

We retain your personal information as long as it is necessary for the uses set out in this privacy policy and/or your contract, and to meet legal and regulatory requirements covered in your contract.

If data is needed for analytical or other legitimate business purposes we will take appropriate measures to anonymise this data.

The information collected for marketing purposes will be kept until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive our marketing material.

What are your rights regarding your data:

Please let us know if you think your information is incorrect or is now out of date. You can contact us to request to see your information and have it corrected or deleted, or if you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data.

If you are still not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office https://ico.org.uk/.
